Ski Trip Information
From December to May, we have monthly weekend ski trips to Mammoth Mountain, California, for our members with disabilities. Our members usually ski all day Saturday and Sunday morning with volunteer adaptive ski instructors. Members can use our ski equipment or bring their own. We have bi-skis, mono-skis, and 3-track for our members. We also offer snowboarding lessons and racing.
Thanks to Mammoth Mountain's generous support of our adaptive ski program, our instructors receive the benefit of skiing free on Sunday afternoon and all day Friday.
Currently, our members and instructors are responsible for their own transportation and lodging. Most stay at the Motel 6 or Sunshine Village in Mammoth Lakes. See below for condo information and directions.
We have a Winter Trips Director who handles all the paperwork, phone calls, and answers questions, and a Ski Director who schedules lesson assignments, oversees the ski and snowboard lessons, and handles any problems on the mountain.
Send our Winter Trips Director your Trip Reservation Form and the following information at least 3 weeks before each trip:
1. When you are going up, Thurs. or Fri?
2. Do you need lodging?
3. Are you driving and can you take someone?
4. Are you a student and what equipment do you need, (if any)?
You may also email your forms and information to our: Winter Trips Director
You may now use Paypal if you wish. Prices are a little higher due to PayPal Fees, but it is convenient!
Make the check payable to: The Unrecables
