Ski Trip Information
From December to May, we have monthly weekend ski trips to Mammoth Mountain, California, for our members with disabilities. Our students ski all day Saturday and Sunday morning with volunteer adaptive ski instructors. Members can use our ski equipment or bring their own. We have bi-skis, mono-skis, and outriggers for 3-track and 4-track. We also offer snowboarding lessons.
Thanks to Mammoth Mountain's generous support of our adaptive ski program, our instructors receive the benefit of skiing free all-day Friday and Sunday afternoon after lessons are completed.
Our members (instructors and students) are responsible for their own transportation and lodging. Our Winter Trips Director can assist with potential carpooling and may be able to provide limited lodging at Sunshine Village Condos in Mammoth Lakes. Most Unrecables stay at Sunshine Village.
*** Note For All Students***
*If you need to use a mono-ski or bi-ski provided by The Unrecables, sign up as soon as possible. There may be a Wait List.
Our Winter Trips Director handles trip forms. trip related phone calls and questions. Also, signed waivers and emergency forms.
